If I was San Diego (LA now I guess but whatever), I’d want to keep any trade talks as quiet as possible. The extreme likelihood that he won’t be moved would alienate Herbert and create a very awkward situation.
Edwards always seemed determined to make it about himself. I was never a fan but he was passionate, too, and I hope nothing but the best for him in retirement.

An ideal draft to me would be at least one each of wr and ot. I wouldn’t mind if they moved up in to the back end of day 2 again to shore up depth at any position, either.
I’m thinking the first and second tier OTs will all be gone at 34, but there may be an enticing WR sitting there. It’d have to be a pretty decent offer of a higher pick next year rather than a middling one this year to entice me to pass on a big need.
Glad they’re doing their due diligence. I’m happy with any of the top QBs.
