    Pre-Game Thread- Pats @ Vikings-Thanksgiving Game

Curious to find out eventually what the injury is. I remember it was revealed later on that Logan Mankins played almost the entire 2011 season on a torn ACL. Still did pretty well.

    OT: Zach Wilson benched officially

The Jete defense a dozen years ago was pretty damn good, and they just needed a QB who wouldn’t mess things up. For all the issues Sanchez had, he managed not to mess it up in those 4 games. Didn’t help them, just didn’t mess it up.

    Good News Potentially On Andrews?

Maybe Zo’s still drunk if he thinks Andrews shouldn’t be ruled out for Thursday at this point. Isaiah Wynn limited, David Andrews out on Monday's injury report - ProFootballTalk

Game Day Thread Official Post Game Thread- Pats beat the Jets

The Jets only got their 3 points because Jack Jones misjudged/got pushed off of a bad pass by Wilson. The Jets defense played very well but the Patriots defense played better.

Thanks for that. These were the types of things we (well, I) was hoping that Mac would be able to work on this year. But it’s tough to work on that when everything else goes down the toilet around him. As Orlovsky says, the play design and spacing was terrible given what they were trying to...

Game Day Thread Official Post Game Thread- Pats beat the Colts

I think he’s saying more than that — that Jones was ready to throw it quickly, but in the play design only one of the four receivers was even looking for the ball at that point. The play design (or execution by the receivers) led to a lot of slow developing routes, yet the intention was for a...

    OT: Reich Fired

If you really want to go geographic, you’d give up Miami to the south, but Indy would go to the north with Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and Cleveland, while the AFC East would get the Ravens. That would be painful to deal with the Ratbirds every year though….

Definitely not his strength but at least he tries. Had a great one on the 4th down to open the 4th quarter - rushed toward the QB, saw the toss to the outside RB and immediately stopped, ran horizontally, and wound up tackling the guy well short of the 1st down marker. Nice play for him there.

Give him the rest of the season on the bench learning the offense, spend offseason doing the same, building up arm strength, and finding passing lanes to minimize tip balls. Then open QB competition with Mac in training camp, may the best guy win, and for us Pats fans, may the best guy be good...

BB says they brought in the other punter this week because he’s left-footed and the Colts have a left-footed punter which Marcus Jones hadn’t seen, spent a lot of time on that this week. As part of a very lengthy response to a wind in kicking game question from Mike Reiss.

I’ll watch it again, maybe you’re right on the Thornton one.

He led him a bit too far which led to Rham needing to catch one-handed. Obviously err on the side of that versus not leading far enough given the situation and type of pass. Something I wouldn’t have brought up if it wasn’t for the other passes. His accuracy just just a tad off today. Unusual...

Game Day Thread Official Post Game Thread- Pats beat the Colts

Jones’ accuracy was off today. Didn’t have any of those dumb WTF throws like he had in most games this year, but the Stevenson TD was off, the two you mention were TDs that he overthrew, the first pass that Bourne dropped led him too far, etc. And he did have read issues as this thread and...
