HA! maybe I am overestimating sabans value to the pats! I think welker will be an asset though. At least we have been able to see him audition in the big leagues.
With Saban going back to the college ranks, I think there is a good chance that BB consulted him on the Welker deal. Much like BB consulted with Saban when he was the HC at LSU. Now that the dynamics of their relationship have changed, Saban can once again be an asset to the Pats.
totally agree
I can totaly relate...If I put as much energy and zeal into my career as I do the draft, I would be writing this message from a yacht in the carribean. Can't Wait!!!!!!!!
ridiculous
thats kind of a ridiculous thing to say about smith considering the guy has been in the league for one year and plays on one of the least talented teams in the league. The verdict is still out on smith, give the guy a chance.
First off, I am a huge college football fan, and I have seen Iowa play on more than a few occasions. My personal favorite was when I watched Greenway rack up 16 tackles against michigan last year.
Sure I agree that there are alot of guys that put up alot of tackles. When you combime...
With all due respect, thats ridiculous...you don't get credited that many tackles with out making your reads, shedding blocks, and sticking the ball carrier. period. I am also from the school that toughness ( to a degree) can be developed. I think if you put this guy under the watch of vrabel...
156 tackles last year...416 career tackles(5th all time @ Iowa)...Look, if you are afraid of contact you dont make 156 tackles in a season. This notion that Chad Greenway is not physical, or not a good tackler is absurd. Is he the hardest hitter in the draft? Probably not. There is a difference...
Not as ridiculous a question as it seems
Who is the better back- LT hands down. Who will have a better season is subject to a little more debate.mmmmmmmmmm....ok I debated it, I will go with LT.
Nothing big here, but maybe gives us a glimpse as to where they are looking early in the draft...maybe, possibly? I dunno? C'mon BB give us something to go on. I am dyin' over here!
Mathias Kiwanuka
This guy may not be a sleeper, but i think he is underrated. He has the frame to pack on 20 more pounds and be a Julius Peppers like force IMO. I think he may go earlier than most expect.
Bobby Carpenter
I like him as well. The only thing is, alot of the reports I have read on him, say that he has recognition issues. I heard he was late alot getting to the ball. But he does seem to fit the Pats LB mold as well.
