    DLine play was pretty scary

Jax got some strong runs early, but once the defense settled down and made some adjustments you didn't see the runs up the middle getting anywhere.

    Post game thoughts....the short version

If you are talking second half leading Medlin on his runs that was Steve Maneri, he played RT for the first half then kicked over to LT for the second half.

Is that Jest intern still in charge? :bricks: Then yes.

    DLine play was pretty scary

Belichick's defense is a multiple front defense. The past couple seasons NE has played more 40 fronts then 30, but then NE is usually facing teams playing from behind so it's about what you'd expect. For the moment it looks like BB is planning to keep more DL and fewer LBs, if so it might be...

    DLine play was pretty scary

I watched a live stream with hiccups so it's nice to read you saw Cohen looking beastly, I got glimpses but was waiting to DVR NFLN's replay today.

I was watching a live stream, but it appeared to be helmet to helmet in the replay I saw?

Good thing too, numbers that large always tend to confuse me.

Randy Cross commenting on how Hoyer lead the unofficial workouts for players who stayed around Gillette was interesting and underscored Hoyer's performance last night, he really has a nice command of the offense. Reiss reported the starting O-line was Solder, Austin, Orhnberger, LeVoir, and...

    DLine play was pretty scary

Re: No props for Daryl Richard? Richard and Love, plus whomever they were platooning with did a nice job of keeping Fletcher clean. I watched a live stream with hiccups so I won't have a lot of detail until I get the NFLN replay recorded this afternoon, but I read a comment from AWTE on another...

    Drafting in Pairs, Lesson Learned?

Yep, the willingness to double-draft is a BB peculiarity which extends into their undrafted targeting. NE came away with two OT, two RB, and two CB out of nine picks in this draft, I expect another TE/H-back once UDFAs can be signed.

Why didnt' that Pats take a WR at 56 & Vereen at 60?

I perhaps don't follow the draft as closely as some, but I don't ever recall any mention - beyond fan message boards - linking Little with New England. As for Torrey Smith, his route running and his body catching seemed to lower his value for NE's offense.

    Ras-I Dowling

A site and analyst I also enjoy reading.

    Ugly Fruit of the Ignorami...

Mel Kiper knows more than BB - he said so, it must be true.
