Fox 61 in Hartford usually carries the Giants, CBS 3 in Hartford the Pats. Since both teams are on Fox today, the station is carrying the team (Giants) they usually carry.
Or get your QB this year, and if we stink next year (likely) we trade back then for a haul.
It just seems like too much of risk to trade back this year if we’re sitting at 1 or 2 and passing on a potential excellent QB.
Well, we didn't win the post-draft grading championship, which we seem to lose every year to the Jets or Cowboys, but we likely helped ourselves in the long-run. So there is that, I guess.
Anyway, I don't know a thing about any of these guys outside of what BGC, and a few other people who I...
Put this in the Pre-Game Thread, but fits here just as well.
I'm going to be slightly contrarian here.
I love how Belichick has set up this draft. A couple months ago we had only 6 (I think, going off memory) picks and we were gnashing our collective teeth that we didn't have enough draft...

Get through Sunday and next Thursday at worst 1-1, and then he has a mini-bye and a bye in the next month. This is the one-time where a late-season bye, instead of mid-season, might actually be more beneficial. Use the downtime to re-charge a little and then push on to the playoffs.
Yes, the...
I'll take a stab.
I got to 50 players and nobody else really stood out as must have. I cut Bolden but expect him back after cut downs/short-term IRs. I could see LaCosse, Wilkerson or Adams back too. It also wouldn't surprise me if roster spots 51-53 get churned for the next few weeks as...
I'd say that if healthy, Cajuste pushes Cunningham off the roster and General Sherman either makes the roster as the 9th OL or goes to the practice squad and gets moved up if one of the top-four IOL gets hurt.
Edit: Or what Brick27 posted while I was typing.
My hope is SF makes a move for a QB, which in turn makes Jimmy G available to us in trade. We then trade down from 15, add another second or third, and grab Mills in second round.
I could still see Jimmy G being the play here. Let SF move up from 12 to 4-8 and take Fields or Lance, and Pats grab a restructured Jimmy G for a later pick. BB can then trade down from 15 or go best PTP available.
Or just continuing to think this through, trade 15 into next year and target...
A quick question for you guys regarding the next tier of QBs after the Big 4 (5). Do any of Mond, Mills, Newman have above average starter upside? Will they be ready to start in 2022? If so, maybe Belichick's plan is to trade down, accumulate more draft capital and take one of these guys.
