A woman has filed a restraining order against Randy Moss…….. Nice timing…. Probably just trying to get attention.. thoughts if it could affect him in the game?

Hope not. YOu'd hope Brady would have a sit down and tell him how behind him he is and how Brady knows chicks and how crazy they can be. (They can be crazy. The media is always "women good / men bad", but it isn't reality.)

I hear ya. My point is people make crap up all the time to get these orders. They have to lie and make false allegations to do it, but it does happen all the time. I know because it happened to me. If this girl is lying, than she can withdraw her complaint and she still will have accomplished her goal of embarrasing Moss and making him answer questions. It's flat out pathetic how many girls do this crap. Again, maybe Moss is guilty(I don't know), but let's just calm down with the rush to judgement.

Yup. The timing does seem to support Moss's story. As does the fact that he came out quickly.

It would be interesting to see what the lawyer has to say. If she did demand money, I'm sure he'll be a witness if it gets that far. Maybe he even had the tape recorder going.

No way of knowing what happened, if anything, that Moss was in any way responsible for. If you're lamenting he knew this woman...

Our friends at Sporting News Radio tell us that, by 1:00 a.m. EST on Wednesday, roughly two hours after our story regarding certain allegations against “Randy Moss” was posted, the Florida radio station reporting the incident pulled the item from its web site.

Our friends at Rotoworld.com (amazingly, we actually do have multiple friends) did some more digging, and they found the Broward County judicial web site at which this story was first posted.

The Broward County web site shows the existence of a case involving “Randy G. Moss.” There is a “Randy G. Moss” who plays for the Patriots and who has a residence in Florida. WDBO-AM in Florida apparently reported this story under the assumption that it’s the same “Randy G. Moss.” The fact that WDBO-AM yanked the story makes us wonder whether it is indeed the same guy.

We’re in the process of attempting to contact the station for an explanation. Stay tuned.

Also interesting is that for the AGE, its sure looks like the letter "B" and not even close to 30.

No way of knowing what happened, if anything, that Moss was in any way responsible for. If you're lamenting he knew this woman...

I'm sad that this has to be even an issue. Restraining orders are usually not a cause for celebration. Whether if for verifiable reasons or if made up.

Reporters will write the story in a way to make it a story whether or not it's true, and none of those stories will be good, especially this week.

I think it's going to be great to watch hypocrisy at it's finest. I firmly believe there is no such thing as journalisitic integrity anymore. It'll be interesting to watch society and see if anybody actually learned a lesson from the Duke case. The lives of a few men were destroyed because facts are no longer important.

On a much lesser scale, look at Spygate. Has any national, or for that matter, local writer even written the actual facts on that case without pure speculation and conjecture?

Najeh Davenport was arrested for beating his child's mother. Never saw it on Sports Center. A Jags player just got arrested for a DUI. Never saw it. Ray Lewis and Leonard Little still play in the NFL, one of them is revered and heralded.

This thread needs to be locked just like the last one until there's more meat to it than a story that was pulled from the originator almost 12 hours ago.

What would be the point? Someone would just start another thread.

These threads are not news unto themselves. These threads do not primarily talk about what Randy Moss may have done, they only talk about the incident of a possible/probable false report.

To suggest locking this thread and gagging folks from even talking about this is a form of censorship.

Now, if this thread got spun off into something more directly accusatory of Moss, I might at least empathize with your request, but that's it.
