the year he went 16-0 with a team loaded with ProBowlers?
or
the 2nd year of his rebuilding the PATs when he went 11-5 with basically a
rookie starter for QB and a team loaded with cast offs and on to beat the
Greatest Show on Turf in the SuperBowl?

For me it was 2001. For me that has to be the greatest coaching job
of all time.

It's for the regular season. The Pats only had 11 wins that year so that's not all that stellar...considering what some of the other teams did that year.

You could pick any of his years cept 2002. How bout 17-2 and being the only team to win the SB with > 30 starters (IIRC we have 44+).

Funny enough, BB thought his 2002 team was better than his 2001 team. I suppose had they not had that 4 game losing streak they would have looked better.

I always thought that 2001 was the year he did more with fewer expectations and some unproven (Brady) players.

2000 was a disaster and 11-5 with a strong finish, barely losing to the Rams said a lot about how far that team had come by late December. That team was on fire, playing with an attitude in every game.

2003.

"They hate their coach."

Four months later...
