That's what it does. If nothing else, he's an upgrade over Christian Elliss in the depth rotation.

6-3 242, 4.82 40 at Combine. Good 3-cone at 7.02, which was just behind the best LB score at this year's Combine of 7.01. Agile.

Highly graded by PFF. 12th of 189 LB's.
(Christian Gonzalez was rated 20th CB of 222, Milton Williams 31/219, Drake 40/75 - so possibly the highest PFF-graded player on the roster? For whatever that's worth.)

24 solo tackles, 1 sack in 2024 per PFF. 22 solo per ESPN. Most of them in two games.
Injured a bit.
Played 5 games 2022, 14 in 2023, 10 in 2024.

So a good coverage ILB, but with significant injury history.

Should see a lot less Tavai and Ellis.

Vrabel has added a DT, NT, two Edge, two LB's, CB, and S. Could be five or six new starters on defense.

From what I have been reading, that's typically a four-month rehab.
Given the severity of this injury, let's add a couple months.

Hopefully he'll be ready to go full speed and play in the preseason.
If there are setbacks he could start out on PUP, start playing in October.
