Jon Lester, cancer survivor, 3 time Champion, 200 wins, retired today. Lead pitcher on undoing 2 cursed teams.

He seemed like one of those rock steady, clutch, and hyper professional guys one could always count on. Calm, poised, clutch, great post-season steadiness. Not in terms of pitching style but in terms of poise reminded me a lot like John Smoltz.

Damn shame his 3rd ring was with that ****ing scumbag Madden & the ****ing sand-bagger Theo the Boy Blunder of Brookline.

What a massive fuk up it was, letting him walk in free agency. The Red Sox and Larry Lucchino could not have handled the negations any worse than they did. Lester was an absolute horse.

that's what happens when you have non baseball people trying to do baseball things. The front office should have just left Theo alone and let him do his thing. Instead, they got jealous and wanted the credit and ran Theo out of town. Still pisses me off

I saw Luchino once outside a movie theater. Couldn't have been taller than 5'5

So Theo is blameless for the disastrous 2011 season?
