Get to work. No more N‘Keal Harry‘s or Cam Newtons or nonsense like that. Talent wins. Your former QB just did THAT.

Learn from this. I hope we we some progress starting next season.

Looking forward to it.

What is the purpose of this thread? Tom Brady leaving for another team and winning a Super Bowl in year 1 does not invalidate all of Bill’s success. Harry was a perfectly valid draft pick at the time, first rounders are not guaranteed successes for anyone. Not like there was a flood of available QBs in free agency last year.

This just feels like an attempt to start a fight, we don’t need to do that.

To fans it's "what have you done for me now" I guarantee if you put Bill on say the packers they win a superbowl.

But pressure is on Bill to compete next year or the noise is going to get louder

No one who means anything is making any “noise” about Bill’s job. That seat is ice cold. It’s been 1 year. (and it was the year of COVID at that)

I actually think Brady winning a SB tonight was the best thing that could have happened to the Patriots and to Bill. There’s no more messing around because the questions will be louder and louder. I want to see a plan in motion to get this team ready to contend in 2-3 years so Bill himself has a shot at a 7th of his own.

He won’t get more than 3 years imo.

Such a small-minded thread.

Belichick is GOAT coach. Brady is the GOAT quarterback.

The GOAT quarterback went to a different, extremely talented team and had an extremely good season. Congratulations.

I look forward to the GOAT coach re-building the Patriots into a contending football team.

Fans on this board constantly blaming Bill for Tom leaving and comparing the two is getting very old ! Either you are a Pats fan and support the coach or go root for TB. We didn't have a great year but I have faith that he can and will turn this around . Brady wanted to leave, he didn't give us much choice and Bill wanted him gone too. I am excited to see our rebuild , I love the Pats and Tom winning in Tampa doesn't change that for me !

that didn't take long for the dumb ass **** to start.....damn
Did you think it would? We're so entitled after 20 years of constant success that you could count the time between the end of the Superbowl and the beginning of the entitled whining in nanoseconds. In this case, negative ones.

His legacy took some serious damage. He needs to find his way back to the conference title game at least.
Not really. It would have a little more though if Reid had repeated.

Not taking away anything from Brady, but any quarterback that was better than average would have taken all that talent deep in the playoffs while no quarterback even Brady would have taken our pile of dog crap for receivers anywhere but home out of the playoffs - Brady had an outstanding group of talent around him and he won it all.

If you want to say Belichick should've extended Brady earlier and that Brady should have been a career Patriot - fine, I tend to agree.

Anything beyond that is nonsense.

To see Brady's success in Tampa as an indictment on Belichick's success in New England is mind-numbingly stupid.

Likewise, had New England thrived this season and Brady struggled, to hypothetically argue that Brady is somehow less of a player, would have also been dumb. We saw a bit of that very early in the season.

All of these binary, either/or narratives are dumb and completely miss the truth.

If Linda Holliday thought the hecklers were bad before then oh boy, buckle up.

This right here.

I'll close it - we've already done this.
