Searching for old posts

Good afternoon.

I have had a couple instances when I wanted to go back to past posts to find something I had previously researched. However when I get to my posting history I cannot find it, because the post history only goes back for a limited number of posts. I don't recall that being the case before; if I recall correctly you could go back in that manner indefinitely.

Is that something that was implemented to save server space? Not a feature of the updated software?

Obviously it is a very low priority in terms of tools and features, but I did find it useful on occasion. Same holds true for looking up someone else's past posting history.

I noticed that too. I have to reindex them. Planning on doing that tonight after I run an update.

Try it now, it finished recompiling a bit ago. Although I noticed it only pulls 10 pages of results so if you want to go back farther, you have to use the date fields.

It's working perfectly now, giving me ten pages at a time.

I don't see the date fields you mentioned, though to be honest I don't know if I would ever use that.
