OT: Reactions - Which ones stay, which ones go?

Find an alternate laugh (the "ha ha" looks terrible), ditch the "genius", and bring back RLKAG. And, if you need to swap out another one, "I'm excited" would be a great candidate for that.

There's some overlap between Like, Agree and Winner. IMO keep Like and Agree and get rid of Winner. I think the face used for Dislike is pretty good because it's not overly harsh. I personally wouldn't get rid of I'm Excited because it does have its uses. I do miss a "Useful" type rating a lot, I think we need that back. How much play will "Angry" really get that wouldn't also get covered by "Sad" or "Dislike"?

In my humble opinion - replace Winner with Useful and replace Angry with something off-the-wall like RLKAG. Everything else looks fine to me.

I'd really hate to lose Winner. To me this is reserved for the best takes in a thread. Many might be useful but usually only a few deserve the Winner tag.

But obviously YMMV..

I'm torn on it as well, but I want a Useful and a RLKAG more than I want a Winner. I would probably be fine with dumping Agree instead of Winner I suppose, and just going with Like/Dislike.

I'm glad "confused" is gone because it was being overused, especially in situations it simply didn't apply. Please don't bring that one back!
I completely forgot about it because I haven't seen it for a while before the update, but that was the worst offender of all the reactions. That was abused way too much and didn't make any sense how people were using it. You could state a fact and you'd get some a**hole clicking the "i'm confused" as a reaction.

I forgot about RLKAG as well but I don't want to see that back as well as it doesn't make any sense.

These have been updated. Gone are Genius, Dislike and Angry. Added are Disagree, Useful and Wow!!

Thanks Ian. I noticed that it seems like the icon for Winner is now the icon Genius used to be - is that by design or an error? Also, maybe I didn't notice it before but is Interesting new? Edit: I think Interesting took the place of I'm Excited which is a good choice.

Yes. Just swapped "I'm excited" and added "interesting" and also switched out the icon for Genius/Winner. Thought people might like that. :D

Sure why not haha. I think Wow is a good one too, hadn't really thought about it but that does seem like a bit of a necessity. Often times news is really surprising but not necessarily likeable, or exciting, or sad, etc. "Wow" can convey shock without assigning positivity or negativity... Good pick there.

I was looking at some threads today that I wanted to react to with something like Wow or What? or Interesting and obviously we didn't have them. I don't think the "Angry" one was used all that often and the others overlapped a bit, so I figured we'd change things up a bit. Obviously these can always change, but I think this combination will hopefully fit a little better.
