Fortunately, the other contenders didn't exactly start great either.

Astros lose 3 of 4 to Tampa.

Most notably the Yankees losing 2 of 3 at HOME to a team that lost 115 games last year.

Our starters are much better than this. Not worried.

he is. last year it was 24 I believe.

2-8, tied for the worst start in team history. For a rotation that is supposed to be deep, they’ve yet to see a starter record a victory through ten games.

Sure, it’s a long season, but it’s also hard for teams to climb out of these kinds of starts. Hopefully, Tuesday marks a change in the right direction.

Sale hasn’t really looked himself since July, despite some good innings here and there. I was a bit surprised to see the extension prior to the season. Let’s hope that he turns it around, but I’m getting to the point where I’m expecting him to be shut down for a long stretch, again.
