Excellent defense, and while his overall line looks nothing special, he's hit a whole lot better lately(.320/.393/.467 this month). Either way a huge upgrade over Nunez.

Dombrowski has done well. Pearce, Eovaldi and Kinsler for a bunch prospects too old for their levels. Just rentals, but perfect fits.

With the jettisoning of two more more minor-leaguers, is there anything left in the already-threadbare cupboard to acquire anybody (LHR, C, 3B) who can make an actual difference?

I don't mind Holt being given the opportunity to win the majority role at 2B; I just hope that the FO has a better RH platoon plan than Pedroia.

I don't like his tendency to be on the disabled list. they should go forward anticipating he will never be the starting second baseman again.
