Per Reiss:

The victory parade for the New England Patriots, winners of Super Bowl XLIX against the Seattle Seahawnks on Sunday night, has been scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, according to Boston Mayor Marty Walsh.

The parade will start at the Prudential Center and end at City Hall.

More details to come.

I hope NFLN airs it, that way I can tape it.

Ok I'm gonna half to pull some strings but I think I'm gonna go.

It's odd that they don't take more time to get the snow cleared up. Oh well, I'm going either way.

In totally unrelated news, my one unmovable meeting this week is Tuesday at 11:00 am.

bad bad timing IMO with this snow storm today...don't think you will get as many ppl as say wednesday

Have not been since 2002, where is the best place to watch it??

Taking the train in, so somewhere close to a subway stop would be preferred...

Is the Parade being aired nation wide or is it just for the New England region?

If you can, take the green line to Boylston and get off there. That's the best place because the duck boats will be up close.

I've read that they have to do it early because many players are leaving town right away, not that I blame them what with the way the weather has been lately.

I'm going to go and here is what I know about it.

It will be about 15 degrees F with gusts of wind up to 20 MPH so dress in layers and dress warm. As a result of the cold there will be no rally at the state house. The players are going for a ride in the duck boats. If you plan to take the commuter rail in, Woodland Station is a good bet to have available parking. Alewife and Riverside could fill up.

The weather was supposed to be snow - sleet - rain.
Early afternoon the rain/snow line was up to Providence and then in a blink of the eye the rain/snow line moved off coast. The team may need some of these if available.

Heard they'll be working all night to clear the route but it's gonna be a mess. Oh well, gotta DO MY JOB!

bump.. parade moved to Wed.

Sad that excessive global warming is preventing a rally

Any chance they go ahead with a rally now that's its been moved? That's the whole point.

I believe so. Wednesday isn't going to be as bad. High of 36 and it'll be sunny.

Need confirmation of this as it drastically affects my parade strategy. Hoping for official word on a potential rally soon!
