Welker named to AP's All-Pro team - Extra Points - Boston.com
Wes Welker was named to the Associated Press' All-Pro team on Thursday, the first time the Patriots receiver has been chosen.

Welker, who suffered a season-ending knee injury in the regular-season finale against the Texans, had 123 receptions for 1,348 yards and four touchdowns this season. He had seven games with 10 or more receptions. He also missed games in Weeks 2 and 3 vs. the Jets and Falcons.

No other Patriots player made the All-Pro first team. Guard Logan Mankins was named to the second team.

Congratulations Wes Welker!

Very much deserved.

:agree: :ditto: :eat3: :eat1:

Kinda funny, though, that this thread gets five messages, all day, and the "Dean Pees 'fired'" thread gets 40 messages in about 20 minutes.

Indeed, kind of surprised me.

Thus I bumped it up 16 hours after the last reply.
