Back, by popular demand, are the links from behind enemy lines. Here’s what the folks from Kansas City are saying about Sunday’s season opener:

Most of the links are from the Kansas City Star, but scroll down for more. The Star has a quick game preview via The Sports Network. (USA Today also has a straighforward game breakdown.) Here’s the Kansas City take on Tom Brady being removed from the injury report. Chiefs rookie tight end Brad Cottram says he isn’t in awe of the Patriots. The Kansas City secondary is itching to face the New England wide receivers. This notebook is chock full of good stuff, including the fact that rookie left tackle Branden Albert took every rep in practice on Thursday. He also says that the Chiefs are preparing to face Tom Brady, and have been doing so all along. The Kansas City Star Chiefs blog is also a good place to keep up with all things Kansas City. The Topeka Capital-Journal also his this look at Albert.

We’ll try and find a few more over the weekend.
