Here’s the rest of the Randy Moss Q&A with reporters from this morning at Gillette Stadium:

On progress from the injury…
For the most part. I’m happy where I am. The biggest thing is my playing shape and how it will affect me when I’m out there. The main thing is how good a game shape I’m in. Not the plays, not going out there and making things happen. Hopefully, all that will take care of itself. But that’s the main thing, because like I said earlier in this interview, I don’t want to do anything to slow the team down. If I’m out there slowing the team down, then I’ll definitely pull my ownself out.

On holding yourself back…
That was all trainers. They know more than me. Everybody gets paid to do a certain thing, and they had to do their job and tell me what to do and what not to do. I did abide by their rules. … They did a helluva job of getting me back and getting me back to practice.

On working with Tom on route-running…
Me and Tommy talk every day, as far as the routes and how he likes things. He’s very, very, very picky, and that’s a good thing. It’s not a bad thing. He’s the quarterback, and he has to distribute the ball. Whatever he likes, that’s what we’re going to do, so we’ve already been through all of that.

Are you excited about being a part of this team after being around them in training camp?
I’ve been excited since Day 1, the day I talked to Coach Belichick. I keep telling him hat every day I look forward to coming into work and to learn this offense and their style of play. I’m still having fun, and I think that’s the main thing I want to get back to. To try to — not rejuvenate my career — but make me get back to doing what I do best, and that’s making plays. I’m still enjoying myself, I’m still happy, and I’ll continue to do that.
