This past weekend, the Boston Red Sox took on their longtime baseball rival the New York Yankees at Fenway Park.
As part of the pregame festivities, the Red Sox invited a few members of the 2021 New England Patriots to throw out honorary “first pitches” before two of the four games in the series.
On Thursday night, linebacker Kyle Van Noy returned to Fenway for the first time since resigning with the Patriots this offseason while wide receiver Kendrick Bourne made his first appearance at the historic ballpark.

All in all, it was a successful weekend for the Red Sox, who won three of four against New York, and the Patriots, who were treated to an entertaining series to wrap up their summer before its back to work later this week when training camp opens.
As an added bonus, even Julian Edelman attended one of the games with his girlfriend.
