Last week, former New England Patriots Tedy Bruschi and Rob Gronkowski returned to their alma mater University of Arizona to coach against each other in the schools annual spring football game.

As part of the festivities welcoming them back to campus, Gronkowski attempted to set a Guinness World Record by successfully catching a football dropped from 600 feet out of a helicopter onto the Arizona field.

So just how did Gronk do? Check out Bruschi’s reaction for yourself below.

After two initial drops, Gronkowski finally hauled in the football on the third attempt, sending everyone in attendance into a celebratory frenzy as he became a world record holder.

“Every time you step on that field, you gotta raise that bar to another level. And I just raised that bar to this level!”, Gronkowski told the media later that day.

As for the spring game itself, Bruschi shared some more photographs from their time in Arizona over Instagram.
