Despite scoring his second rushing touchdown of the season this past Sunday in Houston, New England Patriots running back Damien Harris saw his lowest yardage total (43) and attempts (11) since Week 7.

However through seven games played, Harris has still logged a team high 514 rushing yards on 96 carries longitude two touchdowns.

Following the season ending knee injury to Rex Burkhead, Harris will continue to see his share of carries even as Sony Michel returns to action.

During Michel’s absence, Harris effectively took over the starting running back job and will now look to keep it as the season enters its final month.

On his Instagram this week, despite all the recent changes to the lineup, Harris remained optimistic with his role moving forward, sharing a gameday photo alongside a motivational quote that read “the greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it”.

Harris will look to get back on track when the Patriots welcome the Arizona Cardinals to Gillette Stadium on Sunday.
