New England Patriots linebacker Brandon Copeland has put together a successful eight-year career in the NFL, but what many might not know, is he’s also an influential teacher off the football field.

A University of Pennsylvania Bachelor of Science graduate in economics, Copeland spends his off-seasons as “Professor Cope”,  a financial literacy teacher at the University’s Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia.

According to his website, Copeland’s “Life 101” course deals with what he calls, “Realities of life that we ALL have to deal with regardless of what major or profession we enter.”

Check out Copeland’s story in an “NFL Films Presents” profile piece below.
