Over the past 25 years, jersey number 24 with the New England Patriots has become synonymous with some elite cornerbacks.

Earlier this week a fan on Instagram created an image that included three of them, Ty Law, Stephon Gilmore, and Darrelle Revis.

All three contributed to a combined five Super Bowl titles in New England.

Law took notice of the fans graphic art, and shared it over his own page.

“We got you covered! The legacy continues…”, Law wrote in a caption.

Last week, Law commented on Gilmore’s hard work over the past few seasons that has led him to a Defensive Player of the Year honor and Super Bowl ring.

“That’s what the great ones do, he is amongst the giants of the league and has a desire to be the best and stay there,” Law told the Boston Herald. “I’m loving what he is doing and looking forward to another big year for him.”

“He’s the real deal. And he still seeks advice and asks questions. He’s still eager to learn,” Law said of Gilmore. “If he keeps it up, he’ll be around a long time. One day, you’ll see him in the Patriots Hall of Fame, and the NFL Hall of Fame, as well.”

The proud legacy of jersey number 24 will look to add another chapter from Gilmore in 2020.
