The comeback tour of New England Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon continues to impress the opposition as the team pushes through the final month of the 2018 regular season.
This past Sunday against the Vikings, Gordon hauled in his third touchdown reception from quarterback Tom Brady this season.
Miami Dolphins head coach Adam Gase discussed what he noticed about Gordon’s New England progress in his Wednesday conference call with the media.
“He’s more comfortable,” Gase said. “He knows the offense better than what he knew it that week, you know, he seems like he’s healthy. I mean, I don’t know, you know I’m sure everybody in the NFL is banged up a little bit. I know he was coming off an injury at that time. He’s a tough guy to defend. He can catch the ball at all levels, he can stretch the field, he can work underneath and in the quick game. He makes some incredible catches. He’s just a tough guy to deal with.”
Over nine games as a Patriot, Gordon has logged 34 receptions for 605 yards and three touchdowns.
Quarterback Tom Brady has also targeted Gordon eight times over the past two games, Gordon is a perfect eight for eight in receptions.
On Instagram Thursday, Gordon shared a photograph from Sunday’s win with a motivational caption.
