(PHOTO: David Butler II - USA TODAY Sports) On Wednesday it was announced that longtime official Ed Hochuli was retiring from the NFL after 26 seasons.
To NFL fans around the world, Hochuli will be remembered most for his funny and sometimes lengthy rule explanations.
The Patriots were apart of a few, including a game against the San Diego Chargers in September 2007 and the San Francisco 49ers in December 2012 that can be seen in a shared video by the NFL over Twitter that compiles some of his most memorable calls.
