On Tuesday, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady landed on the cover of Sports Illustrated for the 21st time in his career in a regional issue of the magazines 2017 NFL season preview.

As part of the cover’s theme, SI created the illustration of Brady being a giant as the defending Super Bowl champion, with members from other NFL teams trying to climb up him to overthrow the reigning champs.

One of those players on Brady was Cleveland Browns offensive linemen Joe Thomas, and in a joke, the Browns official twitter account “congratulated” Thomas for also being on the cover with a funny .gif image that zoomed in on his little location.

Taking the joke in stride, Thomas took pride in the “honor” of “being in Brady’s armpit.”

Sometimes all you can really do is find ways to laugh at yourself, and with the Browns having 15 losses a year ago, their teams social media department certainly earned a win to open up 2017.
