    My Jersey:

He's got 48 hours to turn himself in. Turns out he's in possession of a second passport which he did not turn in as required. He acquired this second passport just two weeks after shooting Trayvon Martin - and he and his wife lied under oath saying they had no money for bond when, in fact, they had both been busy transferring $135,000.00 between several accounts the day before he appeared in court and declared himself financially indigent.

    Opps.

LOL... Harry, you're advocating he be allowed to accumulate cash and extra passports, rather than make him stand trial for shooting the kid to death?

Is it "we'll get him yet" to try to keep him in-country to stand trial?

Wow... for this one case, you sure are a fan of the rights of the accused!

The sooner he is found guilty and locked up the better ... this guy should get the D-bag of the year award.

Looks like he's screwing himself up now, no doubt he should have stayed in his house and watched TV, he should have only used his gun when they tried to come through his own window, f-ck the neighborhood.
    He'll do time now.

Stay away from "neighborhood watch" belonging to it can get you into a lot of trouble with both The Law & The Bad Guys.

The Night Belongs To The Criminal especially in all of the big city's.

Really? I've lived in big cities for the past 20 years (LA, NYC, Chicago) and never had an issue, day or night. Neither has anybody I know, at least off the top of my head.

It must suck living in fear like you so obviously do. I sincerely feel bad for you.

Yeah, come to think of it, whether living in DC or in the burbs, my experience has been the same -- but I will mention one B&E about 20 years ago now. My fragile psyche recovered.

I will mention however that I was once held up in the most trendy part of Williamsburg (VA), where I was working at a High's Ice Cream store (that's like a combination Baskin Robins/7-11.) I think the population was about 20,000. One of them wanted money and had a gun.

You worked at an ice cream store, but make fun of me for once having been a paralegal many, many years ago? I'll take 2 scoops of double dutch please, with chocolate jimmies.

Yes, Wolfpack, but I don't claim an immense body of special knowledge about the specifics of their "tin roof sundae" recipe as a result -- although I would imagine you would feel that your position as a paralegal qualifies you to bloviate about the rocky road.

    Much luv,

I don't claim an "immense body of knowledge" - I just stand by the obvious fact that I know considerably more about family law than you or your wife. Remember when she made all those stupid statements about how the judge "gave permission" to a plaintiff to proceed?

What an impressive, important job you held! Now get in the kitchen and make me a banana spilt.

lol... thank you for your obligatory appearance in a thread topic you've long-since compromised yourself in.

you've been running your mouth rather consistently in this thread. Good job. Unfortunately, you've yet to say anything about George Zimmerman's latest round of dishonesty. Why is that?

Because I honestly haven't been following this latest legal maneuvering. I know his alibi is that the money was set up in a trust that he did not have access to, and I will be interested to see what the judge has to say. Of course, you seem not to realize that something that happened in a courtroom a couple weeks ago has absolutely zero bearing on something that happened on the steets of Florida a couple months ago.

Meanwhile, you've been awfully quiet about my prediciton that Romney would win the Repiblican nomination. You used to ridicule me for my prediction, but haven't done so in quite some time. Why is that?

"I think it's pretty clear that Romney is the front runner and will go on to win." - Wolfpack, 1/16

"It's pretty clear you just have no clue about a primary." - Titus Pullo, in response

"you're still talking about a Mormon who the crazy evangelicals will not flock to." - Titus

    WHOOPS!

Amazing how threads continue to be hijacked and become about "I's" rather than about the subject at hand... guess a certain few revel in the need for some type, any type of attention... please give me some attention.

Even more concerning is that people claim to be legal experts, then they claim that they never said they were legal experts and now they claim to be legal experts once again.. in reality very few around here understand the nuances of Florida Criminal Law...

Want to show me where I've denied various acts of violence occurring?

I guess if it turns out the killers were white, you and harry will lose interest.

But what does this have to do with Zimmerman's bond? other than a lonely, scared old man screaming for attention?

I know a simple mind like your thinks that all types of law and all lawyers are all the same, but out here in the real world an individual can claim to have advanced knowledge of family law and family courtroom procedures and yet still at the same time be mature enough to admit that that gives no professional insight into criminal law and criminal courtroom procedures.

Of course, I obviously know and understand far more about criminal courts of law than you do, but that's not really saying much.
