If this doesn't make you puke, you haven't got a pulse. Bring your own barf bag. First, they make you pay taxes to produce this; then they won't let you see it because it is "too political" !! Say what!!?

Bottom line: PBS doesn't want YOU to see anything that might support what the president has been saying all along: there are good Muslims and there are bad Muslims. Just like in every demographic.

They need to show this film AND give us our money back for trying to two-time us.

Producer: PBS dropped 'Islam vs. Islamists' on political grounds

The producer of a tax-financed documentary on Islamic extremism claims his film has been dropped for political reasons from a television series that airs next week on more than 300 PBS stations nationwide.

Key portions of the documentary focus on Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser of Phoenix and his American Islamic Forum for Democracy, a non-profit organization of Muslim Americans who advocate patriotism, constitutional democracy and a separation of church and state.

Martyn Burke says that the Public Broadcasting Service and project managers at station WETA in Washington, D.C., excluded his documentary, Islam vs. Islamists, from the series America at a Crossroads after he refused to fire two co-producers affiliated with a conservative think tank.

"I was ordered to fire my two partners (who brought me into this project) on political grounds," Burke said in a complaint letter to PBS and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which supplied funds for the films.

And lib-lefties complain about Fox !!!

At least Fox gets their money from private advertisers; PBS is using YOUR money and other peoples' money !!! YOUR tax dollars fund PBS.

It vents ONE view, ONE slant, ONE message: secular humanism from the left.

Religious or spiritual messages, particularly, need not apply.

I don't suppose its just a teensey bit possible that PBS won't show the show because it sucks.

Funny, when Ben Affleck's last movie with JLo disappeared from movie theaters in like 5 seconds, you didn't hear our side complaining about bias by right wing movie companies. We just acknowledged the fact that it sucked and moved on.

They did this crap all the time when "Cronkite" was running things in the Elite Lefty Media, it's a whole new ball game now, ask Dan Rather and Cute Katie (nobody's watching her).

    Huh?? :wha:

Uh, it's teensy bit DIFFERENT what Ben-can't-marry-no-PR Afleck and JLo do and what Wahabbi-ized militant extremist Muslims do. Don't you think??
