Welker on not playing last 2 games "it's just a personal situation. Leave it at that. Ask coach Belichick." #Patriots

Welker has to stop it with the feet jokes already. He hasn't learned that Belichick is not amused.

    couldn't it just be a

"let's fully evaluate Edelman and Ebert to see if they deserve a roster spot and a practice squad spot, respectively, while resting a guy who likely has a minor undisclosed injury"

    situation?

If you can find any thread i have ever started just to cause sh.t feel free to link to it. I don't post just to piss people off, which is what borg does all the time.

What part of the OP pisses you off. Should all Welker news be suppressed so your psyche doesn't get damaged

    Aaaahhhhhh.

I thought your post was a wry, sarcastic comment on Welker's tweet.

Got it. You were going after the POSTER.

    I see now.

You need to seriously take a chill pill. The OP was merely reporting a tweet that does have a twist to it.

I can't believe borg had the gall to post a recent quote from one of our top players without checking to make sure it'd be OK with you first.

I don't know if we can read anything into this. Welker may be just touting the company line that he doesn't say anything about playing time. Or there could be more meat to it.

Knowing Welker, I doubt he would air his dirty laundry in public or even allude to there being dirty laundry in public. Not really his style.

I read on another board that in today's presser, BB referred to WW as "day to day."

I wouldn't be surprised if he meant "personnel" like others have said, in that context "personal issues" seems strange

Apparently by day to day coach meant TODAY. Welker is back at practice. Others aren't. More to come from the twitterverse.

Translation: because Welker is a small and rapidly aging receiver he needs a few extra days to recuperate. ;)

Did I read somewhere that it might have been a trade situation?

Colts ( or another team) couldn't come up with enough to let Wes go in a trade?

    I know...How dumb can I be...Wes traded...NEVER !!

Ummm...I think we said the same when Sey got traded. :rocker:

If holding him out was related to keeping him healthy while shopping him it appears the sale is over as he is back on the field.
