it seems to me, these two positions get the crap beat out of them, and we always have a ton of injuries.

BB seems to have loaded up on both, smart

crazy thought:

question -- he picked up some older guys and threw them out there at the start of the season (L sanders, d oneal).

did he start these guys becuase he assumed they would get injured, the young guys would some in fresh, then develop and be strong by playoff time?

would he be planning that far ahead?
 
Hard to assume anyone would get injured. Like you said, BB likes to develop younger players for a year or so before throwing them into the fire. That's why he signed all those veteran DBs before the season, and drafted a few more to take over in a few years.
