I though we were just over there to steal it. Why do EXXON, MOBIL and the other big companies have to pay. What a jip.

Before you get into the "no bid" criticism, lets keep in mind that it does adress the point in the article.

So the truth about why we went into Iraq come to the surface. What a SHOCK!
The nationalized oil industry in Iraq, owned by Saddam Hussein, was shutting out the western oil companies from making profits from Iraqi Oil. We get Saddam and his government out of the way, enter Exxon Mobil and British Petroleum. No wonder the Brits were so eager to "be our friends"...

"...Four Western oil companies are in the final stages of negotiations this month on contracts that will return them to Iraq, 36 years after losing their oil concession to nationalization as Saddam Hussein rose to power..."

    SUCKAHS!

"If" we ever discovered proof we fought any battle and any of our sons & daughter died because they were fighting for oil, those responsible should be sent away for life or be executed.

The problem is, we'll never have "proof" of this sort of decision "if & when" it happens.

I've got all the proof I need. The legal courts might not have enough proof, by I'm not a court of law.

As if there's not an iceberg of evidence already. A Con man supreme court, and lie-enabling, slimey justice department trumps any evidence.

You know, the more I read from you, the more you come off sounding like a Johnny Cochoran.

    "Glove don't fit," right counsellor?

This sentence sums up the fact that, for all your blatherings, you're really not a very smart individual. As if its all that simple. That goofy YOU was going to get "free oil."

I'm asking YOU what YOU meant by it the Supreme Court comment, don't dodge....

The throw it sentence at the end was in keeping with the entire thread, the premise of which was entirely satirical, but you already knew that, didntchya wordman ;)

Why would I ever dodge anything from an empire supporter like YOU? LOL... Get over yourself...

The Con man supreme court comment was fairly clear, and your attempt to play dumb is fairly transparent -- to the point where I didn't feel I needed to placate you...

They feature a conservative majority, and they've routinely voted in favor of Boy King initiatives, and protected his hide ...

Is he goofy or is he playing dumb?

Just curious. Has no bearing on the issue at hand.

I love this line from righties, "But if the Iraq war was about oil, why is gas so expensive at the pump." Sometimes I wonder if there's just a hamster running in a wheel up there.

An oil man president, an oil man vice president, a former Chevron executive (Condi Rice) and a whitehouse full of oil industry advisors started a war for .... oil!?!

    Who woulda thunk it?
