Does anyone here really believe this kind of thing?

A New York rabbi claims gay marriage and the earthquake that shook the East Coast are directly connected.

In a video uploaded to YouTube, Levin says gay rights legislation, like the gay marriage law passed in New York, are responsible for earthquakes, like the one that struck Washington, D.C. Tuesday.

“The Talmud states, 'You have shaken your male member in a place where it doesn't belong. I too, will shake the Earth,'” Levin says.

On Top Magazine reports that Joseph Farah, editor of WorldNetDaily.com, expressed similar sentiments.

Maybe is concentrate enough gay people together we can shake up the economy and get it moving. Seriously - wtf with these people ... I try to find a way to understand their reasoning and I find no basis for even a starting point. These people are great examples of a human brain that has been completely brainwashed.

Heh, he should know better than to try and use the Talmud to justify that type of position. Then again, it looks like he's in the habit of stirring up anti-gay sentiment among evangelical Christians, so perhaps he's used to saying whatever the hell he feels like, knowing he won't be scrutinized for his theological fallacies.

Next thing he'll be quoting the Karma Sutra when bashing fellating-Americans for their obscene sexual preferences. It'll work the same because the people listening to him will still think he's talking about ancient Hebrew texts.:D

This is not exclusive to judaism..

Many Americans are scratching their heads today wondering what in the world is going on with a rare earthquake hitting the East Coast to be followed by a hurricane a few days later.

It reminds us that our world can change very quickly.

Things don't always stay the same.

Because I live in the bay area, I have this site bookmarked:

    Live Earthquakes Map

its a good way to look at the big picture. Looks like a lot of activity in the south-western side of the ring of fire this week.

Suck it up as your last killer quake was in the '80's. Those of us blessed to live in the East freak out when pretty much nothing happens :p
