So what am I if I drive a foreign-made pickup?!!!!

(Uh-oh, here it comes...... gotta go put on my armored suit now ... )

Actually, I'm being hypothetical. I don't drive any pickups; but if I did I'd probably go with a Ford.

Trying to remember my cars... Chevy Blazer, Chevy s-10, Ford F-150 king cab, Dodge Truck currently Dodge Caravan and '93 Ford F-150 this is anecdotal.. but my most conservative friends two drive Toyotas and one drives a Honda.. the problem with these types of studies is that they do not take into marketing strategies and availability of the company .. i.e. if you go to some rural states that are spread out, probably do not want to market a prius if it is a region of horse farmers... if you are in Boston it may make more sense to drive a small reliable car, rather than an F-150...

The article does note that conservative Democrats are most loyal to American cars. One reason I think many Democrats drive foreign cars is that tend to be smaller, which is important in city areas. I leased a Chrysler for awhile, but when I tried to buy the car from them after the lease expired, they said I could not. They could only sell me a different used car. They lost me as a customer, and the only other dealer walking distance from where I live sells Hondas. I've been very happy with my Accords.

black......and yes with the striping........its in fairly good shape.......good enough for me.......LS6 upgraded with a holley 1150 and straight pipes.....I'd say over 500hp........and not the 500hp that the foreign clowns talk about today.......because it comes with around 600 ft/lb or torque, too, and you can get to most of the power earlier in the band........as they say, there's no replacement for displacement

I'm looking to move it in favor of a mid 60's chevelle convertible......if I could find a 327SS, I would be very happy.......my SS ain't exactly all that driveable anymore......too many cars around

Well then ... the smart thing to do here would be to say "I drive a smart car". :D

2008 Dodge Nitro for me ... not sure what that meakes me but :confused2:

I had a durango before that ...12 mpg had to go and a 1999 Dodge Ram before that. My next car will be a hybrid ... i see no sense in buying another gasoline fueled vehicle, not sure I want a 100% electric yet either.

Even though Hyundai is a South Korean company my car was most likely still built in an American Hyundai plant.

    Hmmm...

I had a 1986 Buick Skyhawk. Then I bought a 1993 Nissan Sentra. From there I moved on to an Infiniti J30. Now I have a 2004 Jeep Cherokee Overland. I do LOVE my Jeep, as most Jeep owners do. However, I will be moving along from it sooner or later, as my current 1 mile a day commute, is going to be about 20-25 miles per day, come August. :( I will miss my Jeep once it's gone. What's next is anyone's guess. It has to be AWD, and either a crossover, or SUV type vehicle. It has to be because of the line of work I am in. Most importantly, it has to get excellent gas mileage. That's the only reason I'm considering moving on from my Jeep in the first place.

I got a 04 Dodge Ram and a 89 GMC, The Dodge rides great and flies. The GMS starts all the time and carries anything, takes a beating and I can fix it. I'm a double, red-neck gas pig, but I need both for work...sorry Ralph!

I have 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe loaded up with everything, I love it, probably my last car, I started with a 1932 Ford (rumble seat) used to get drunk in it and drive up the side walks on Mass Ave, I pused a MTA Bus with it once in a snowstorm.

Ted Kennedy used to do the same thing in Hyannis with his Mothers "Rosemobile" when he was drunk he would drive all the way to the liqour store on the side walk, he saw me doing it once in Harvard Sq, when his sister Eunice got drunk somtimes she would go with him she used to stick her head out of the window like a dog and scare the sh!t out of the tourists.

I've driven so many kinds of cars, and trucks i think it would be hard to pin me down.

    Chevy suburban first ride

    Ford Fairlane

Doge Dart couldn't kill the engine, the suspenssion and body were another matter

    Jaguar XJ 40

Jaguar XKE Roadster Was never broke but i was always fixing it.

Plymouth hatch back can't remember the name, we called it the Anti-Christ. It seemed like it broke down weekly, and was only a couple of years old when we bought it.

    Pontiac Transport

    Toyota 4X4, loved that truck

Right now '07 Minnie Cooper S Good on gas, good in snow, good acceleration.
