Yates to IR

Bad break for him...as he was playing solid...Hochstein or Neal are needed...and that means another lineman will be needed...

I won't be surprised if/when a call goes down to Dan Stevenson in the next few weeks.

It would go to Barthelmes first.

Didn't Stevenson wind up in Miami??

I think Yates will be back next year, seems like he did ok.

Anybody can hire Dan off the Phins' p/s.

Is Yates another case of fratricide ... didn't Maroney run him over?

Shame. He was doing quite well ... especially run blocking.
We'll be seeing more of Mr. Yates.

Well that was fast. It's usually common practice for us to list a player as questionable for at least three weeks before we finally put him on IR.

How about Mc#@$%$#@ski?

I don't think a broken leg is something you call questionable....so IR quick fast..and keeping a lineman who can't play on the 53 not smart..esp when one has others injured...Possibilities certainly are for Mrucz..and or Barthelmes..Hoch maybe ready to fill in...but it's a backup that is needed..If they really think Stevenson CAN be the backup they sould sign him to the 53..but I have a feeling that will NOT happen. Yates IS a player and will be back next year...
