Any one play? I, for one, would destroy any of you in Black Ops...
i play on madden most of time , xerox25 , dont have black ops yet.
I have Madden, but for some reason I've always been awful at that game. I'm pretty good at NCAA but I seem autistic when I play Madden, my brother dropped 100 on me a couple of years ago and he's no pro at it.
Let me just say Microsoft has never gotten 1 dime from me and never will. So I'm PS3 all the way. I wanted a Blue Ray player anyway. I have Black Ops but, never play it. I suck at COD MP. It's too congested. I spawn and I get killed. Not too much fun. I always go back to Battlefield Bad Company 2. It has huge MP maps. I'm currently a Level 35 Captain II.
Had a PS2 for years and played out the Socom series, most people I know had a 360 so I went on that. Microsoft likes to charge for everything but I still prefer it to the PS3.
What makes the Xbox better?
The whole network in comparison to the playstation, Games on demand, Netflix and the numerous other apps they put in make it better. I think the Xbox is geared more toward the online player as well.
I've never even seen an Xbox being played online so I have no way to compare them. I do have Netflix on my PS3 though.
Sounds like pr0n to me...:nono:
I just found out that there's this new Sony thing Nin something or other...I might have to get rid of my pong game.
Xbox 360. The only multi player I do is Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2. Some Halo Reach too. Not real fun getting killed so much on COD.
My girlfriend LOVES the Left 4 Dead series!
As for me, I play both 360 and PS3!
But only play online on my PS3, because it's free But I don't have Madden on my PS3 (I only got it at christmas), just on my 360. But Madden '12 will be on PS3 I love the game too much I clocked over 200 hours on '10
But I am awaiting the arrival of NCAA '10 from a friend in MI So I will happily play against anyone Never really played football online
Just tell me your PSN
I own both the 360 and the PS3. After i got my PS3 with my first HDTV purchase 3 or so years ago, I shipped my 360 down to my parents house in Florida for when I go there. Absolutely no use for it anymore up here at home. Why pay to play online when you can play online for free via your PS3? Plus, it's a bluray player that streams netflix, with a searchable movie menu. The 360 has more games, but since I only play sports games like FIFA, NHL, and NBA Jam online, who cares. I'd never pay to play my games online. They cost $60 as is, the least they could do is give you the network access to play them on.
I love BFBC2. I've been playing the Battlefield series on the PC since 1942 first came out about a decade ago. I do not play on the PS3 though. I play shooter on my PC. The PC is just far more powerful than a console ever will be, and the gameplay reflects that in a lot of games. I personally can't wait for BF3 to be released toward the end of this year.
I use to play MOHAA on my Mac about 8 years ago. The taunts were great and I still know all the key commands by heart. I had it configured so my left mouse button moved me forward, right click moved me back, click the scroll wheel to shoot, control key moved me left and command key moved me right. Caps lock was run/walk and space bar was jump. I knew every glitch on every map. I could hit people across the map, on the run with the rocket launcher. I had hours and hours of fun with that. But, there were too many PC users with their wall hacks and aimbots. It was a big adjustment playing multiplayer on a console but, now it's second nature and I move just as well as I did with a mouse and keyboard. I still find it more difficult aiming with toggles though.
I have xbox 360, Ps3 and Wii. Ps3 has better graphics being the games are on a blue ray disk. I have Final Fantasy 13 on Ps3, its on 1 disk, for xbox its a 3-disc game.
BTW, i am really good at blackops or Street fighter for that matter
I just can't get used to playing shooters with the controllers. It's takes me 3 weeks to line a guy up in the crosshairs. Talk about frustrating.
What's your K/D on Ops?
I used to be that way, but I have Black Ops for my Xbox 360 and I got used to it (that and Modern Warfare 2 before it). I guess by "getting used to" I mean abjectly mediocre, because I wouldn't boast about my skill at either game. But I have fun playing with friends.
Being the nerd that I am, I love the roleplaying genre. I find Dragon Age and its expansion packs to be fantastic. It's gritty, dark fantasy, akin to the George R. R. Martin A Song of Ice and Fire series (and the game developers have specifically cited him as an influence if I'm not mistaken). Great stuff.
I just got a PS3 last week with my new TV. I am horrible at 1st person shooters but I bought God of War III and GTA IV for it. Next up I'm trading in some old PS2 games for store credit towards Gran Turismo 5. I've got a 3D capable TV and I guess that game has a 3D mode now which should be sick.
I've had too many bad experiences with Microsoft products over the years to ever buy a 360.
Mass effect 2 is the SICKEST game
I bought both GoW3 and GT5 last week, but couldn't stand GoW!
I don't want a game where all I seem to do is button slap!
But I am liking GT5 We should try and get some Pats Fans races going
I am too busy playing NCAA 10 at the moment
Did you play God of War 1 or 2? I'm really liking 3, but I admit there seems to be a little more button mashing in this one compared to a better mix of puzzles and combat in 1 and 2, 1 especially. The puzzles so far have been too easy.
I can't wait to get GT5, might take some time to shake off the rust, haven't played GT in a few years now.
I have a PS3 and 360....ever since I got my PS3 the 360 has been collecting dust though. I like fee stuff
COD got boring, I've been playing since COD2 but MW2 killed it for me....then BOPS almost brought my love back....but failed.
I play almost all sports games (Madden, Fifa, MLB, NBA 2k, NCAA, and NHL) and a few shooters (Killzone 2, the KZ 3 beta, and just some random games I rent).
If anyone wants to get their ass whooped in sports games add me:
I've just been playing zombies lately. I'm pretty darn good on ascension.
Playing BF2 and MOH
Thought some of you might find this interesting, its a device called "eagle eye"
allows the use of a keyboard, mouse, and my favorite n52 or n52te belkin device

Sold me. Even if it doesn't help my gaming it's worth it to be able to hook a normal keyboard to it.
Played MoH for the first time the other day (the new one), whats with the super human Taliban? I put 5 or 6 rounds in one guy and he shook them off like they were spit wads.
No, i never played either GoW 1 or 2, so my expectations were a bit different.
I love Bayonetta when I played that, but something got boring quickly with God of War.
Other games I played and completed were Heavy Rain (completed in less than a day) and Uncharted 2, which is what Tomb Raider could have been!
Also, just started playing Assassin's Creed 2, and really enjoying it!
I did Heavy Rain. Creepy game. I guess you can actually replay it many times and get different outcomes depending on your decisions. I love the Tomb Raider series. I wish there were more for the PS3. I'll never forget the original that I played on the PS1. It was so engrossing. The melodic music. The acrobatics mixed with the puzzles. You get so involved in it many times you actually feel the vertigo when you're way up on a ledge. I did Underworld last year. Never played Uncharted 2 but, if it's like TR I may pick it up.
I bought it when it came out but, it ticked me off that it started with the same opening as the original. And that you couldn't save when you want so you have to go over the same things again and again. I played for about a half hour put it away and never played it again. And I was a beta tester for the MP.
Imagine Tomb Raider and multiply it by 100!!!
Fantastic game! Most websites have in 1 or 2 in their top PS3 games.
