For anyone who caught last night's documentary on Patriots head coach Bill Belichick's "A Football Life", you probably enjoyed the exchange between Belichick and then Ravens receiver Derrick Mason during their 2009 meeting in Foxboro....

Mason should be thankful to Belichick. That's probably the first time in his career he's been nationally relevant.

The BB comments didn't sound like disrespect but I know what Derrick Mason's Tweets sounded like:

This is such the wrong response, the funny thing is that my respect for Mason was actually up for how he laughed it off. I thought it was just a good banter among two people competing. Though BB is using profanity it was not in a way that was disrespectful at all.
Mason's tweet now changes things for me, it appears he did not hear what BB might have said at all during that exchange which is plausible.
All he had to say was it was all in good fun.

Id have to agree with you.....when I saw this exchange last night it seemed like nothing more than a joke.....now all this tweeting from mason has really changed things.
