So what's the story on him? Leading receiver in Pac 10 history or something like that. NFL.com says he has great hands, gave him their highest ranking of WR hands, or so.

At the senior bowl people said his hands weren't good.

So he has dropped.

He is tough and aggressive though, although one site said he didn't block well.

Maybe a 2nd or 3rd round pick for the Pats.

I'll give you a link later, but I heard he ran @ 4.75 at the combine and he was no faster in his "Pro Day".

He had a bad combine, got a case of the dropsies and fell off the map in the wake of Moss, Jennings and Stovall. Hagen could very well be the #3 WR in this draft.

I really don't pay much attention to the combine as anyone can have a bad day.

From the few regular season games that I saw him play, he made some nice catches and made some important drops.

I'd prefer another WR, but if the Patriots take him, then they know a hell of a lot more about him than I do.

Hagan didn't set several Pac10 receiving records by accident, believe me.

His drops got WAY overblown and his hands were generally very consistent at ASU. I think he has a chance to make a big of an impact as receiver in the draft as a rookie because he got so much experience and playing time at ASU and also arguably the bets part about his game is his route running ability.

I'm a big Hagan supporter, but most people seem to be blinded by 2 drops in the senior bowl....
