Since 2006 all three receivers mention have all been in the league now lets look at production.

Gaffney in last three years 85 receptions for 1059 yards and 8TD's

Washington in the last three years 10 receptions 118 yards and a TD

Furrey in the last three years 178 receptions, 1931 yards and 7 TD's

Furrey 2008 stats
18/181 0 TDs, released.

Gaffney 2008
38/468 2 TDs

Why do you think Furrey was RELEASED? He was CUT. If hes so good, why is that? The team has 40M worth of cap space and they CUT him.

He was released because they were 0-16 and more then likely heading for a youth movement. We are going to contend to the SB and adding a vet WR with his experience at the league minimum would be nice. He was put on IR was the reason for his low production after a concussions which he is fine from now.

I have stated my case, time to move on my friend:D
