Wow...Boston has the worst fans ever

I am a die hard Pats fan but come on .... anyone who thinks that they will win every game has a screw loose.

Today didn't go great ..... oh well... Sh!t happens. I don't win every time I go to the casino either.

Anyone who blames an individual player for this loss is not too bright. The whole "Brady sux" "Belichick has lost his mojo" nonsense is ridiculous.

We are 2 seasons removed from the greatest team ever put together. Lots of players left via FA or Retirement. All teams rebuild and evolve.

Losing your 2nd best receiver a week before the playoffs doesn't help either.

Brady played with 3 BROKEN RIBS and possibly a BROKEN FINGER ON HIS THROWING HAND! Randy Moss played with a bad back and possibly bad knees.... but alas not good enough for the Boston fans.

The fact that we made the playoffs is great considering all of this.



So Boston fans ... get over yourself .... bunch of babies



and to the New England Patriots.... maybe next year.

I'm sorry Mr. Army but imo that was the most putrid play off performance by the Pats in thirty years. They deserved to be booed with few exceptions there was no passion no heart. Talking about this last game ONLY

If they had played hard that would be one thing, but playing like they did well thats another.

I think fans in Boston (well, New England) suck, personally. They're real "good time Charlies" to borrow an expression either from my mother or maybe some 1950s Elvis movie. Pittsburgh has great fans. Cleveland has great fans. The Red Sox have great fans. A few Pats non-playoff years and I think the fanbase would shrink by 66%.

Gillette is the quietest stadium in the NFL .... the Boo's yesterday were louder than any of the cheering in the past 5 years. Sad.

I'm just talking about this game, i agree with you that Boston fans have gotten spoiled to the point that they expect a playoff run every year. Well look at some of the other teams....the steelers for example. What happend to the steelers this year isn't that unusul, a team wins then it stumbles sometimes doesn't even make the playoffs. i think its kind of rare for a team to be on top as long as the pats have.

Couldn't agree more. It's amazing to me that, despite all of Ian's best efforts, a sizable portion of the posters here go so "WEEI" that it taints a great website. The (over)reactions here are, at this point, not at all surprising, but definitely disappointing. A little perspective would be nice - thanks for sharing yours.

I don't think Brady sucks, but he did yesterday. I don't think BB has lost his mojo, but he misplaced it yesterday. As for the boos, they deserved it yesterday. As someone else said, overall, not a bad season. The team has many question marks, and many moves to make this offseason, but i think they'll be pretty good next year. We really need another good draft next year

Sure i think change will come next season but we just went through a rollercoaster season with this team and for them to flop the way they did was terrible. Brady has been mediocre all season. He only put up big numbers against terrible teams. Think back to all the long balls he missed this season. The O line was bad today but go back and watch how long Brady held onto the ball this season. To call Boston fans "the worst ever" means to me that you are just a bandwagoner fan and do not put your whole heart into the team. If you were you should of been disappointed about this loss and the lack of effort that was there today. I am proud they booed them. Send them the message that this is not what we are used to around here and not what we expect.
