Seems to make sense for both teams. McDaniels knows Moss and what he could do

Talent wise seems to be pretty even...Marshall is much younger which is a huge plus for the PATS but also more of a potential distraction

Not sure his attitude would work in a locker already full of no leadership right now.

I would trade Moss for a Pass Rusher (OLB-DE) and worry about a receiver later...

I can't imagine Moss would even have much trade value, one year left on a contract, and his age isn't a plus, then throw in his unpredictable attitude and I'm not sure who would want that? Not to mention that the pats couldn't replace him at WR this year.

Talent wise it is not close to even. Moss is a freak, one of, or maybe THE best ever. Having Marshall would be awsome, but losing Moss would hurt an already hurt WR corp.

yes i will. Moss probably has one year left with the pats anyways. I believe Marshall would behave well for a year at least a year on the Pats. Not because he loves the Pats of because of Belichick...Mostly because behaving otherwise would affect his market value.

Attitudes and Egos aside, Marshall is a better then Moss right now, he's much more explosive and can still run.

Also I think McDaniels could have done a better job dealing with Marshall's attitude/ego this year. But I think Marshall is more Mature then Randy, He actually took responiblity for what he did instead of sulking and playing like a dog.

Comparing these two in that regards you would certainly assume that Marshall will have at least a couple hundred more yards receiving next season as a starter than Moss would at 33 years old - Take the atttude away and Marshall is better at this time in both careers.

This would be a bad trade for both teams, IMO. Denver would get the better receiver, but his age means that he wouldn't be at his peak when Denver was talented enough to make a run for the Super Bowl, and he'd be gone in search of a contender after this season. The Patriots would get the lesser receiver who's a problem child.

    Good strategy

Maybe we can trade Tom Brady and get a a second DE.

I mean if we get rid of our only WR what's the point in having Tom Brady right?

What this team needs right now more than ever is a locker room full of guys that love and believe in each other - see the current Saints for a team that has that and how important it is to success,we had that 5 years and earlier ago
...we DO NOT have that right now and adding a guy with an 'its all about me' attitude is like adding hydrochloric acid to a drink already containing cyanide.

There are options at just about any position on the team...wide receivers are not any harder to find than other positions.

Did you fall asleep in the years when Brady won with guys like Reche Caldwell, and David Patten? - In fact our offense was unpredictable back then and in reality I loved it more than the flashy 2 WR offense of today.

IMO A pass rushing threat is more important to this team than ANY position if you want one to stand out right now.

I would trade Randy Moss in a heartbeat for 3 or 4 receivers who are not elite but make plays...another David Givens or Troy Brown type corps would more than compensate for one 33 year old WR whose best days have obviously passed,Randy is still good as a top 10 receiver, just not the best anymore.

    Not my point

Brady might have done it with mediocre receivers but they could catch a football

Randy Moss and Wes Welker are the only WR on this team that can do that.

Since Welker is hurt, Moss is our only WR right now

Caldwell, Patten, people missing arms > Aiken, Baker and any of the other excuses for WR that line up for the Pats other than Welker and Moss of course

I do agree that our 3rd,4th and 5th receivers are poor in talent at WR and thats why I would trade Moss in an instant for 3 or 4 not elite but talented receivers to go with Welker as a receiving corps and Brady to go back to the 'guy that is open' offense...I absolutely miss and loved those years when opposing defenses had no idea who was going to be the guy to catch the pass - they were awesome, now Brady zeroes in on mainly two guys and its not as much fun and not as effective IMO,even 2007 had all 5 receivers who could do it all and were a threat at all times.

Lets face it...guys like Aiken and Stanback are a joke as receivers and their receiving skills would be more apt in the Arena Football League - they are STers in the NFL,nothing more.

    haha keep dreaming

I love Moss but for proven talent at the position I could part with him. Draft picks won't do. Especially with how terrible the Pats are at utilizing their picks

Hmmm..... Well, if nothing else, the marketing opportunities would be tremendous.
