If the Pats had won the Superbowl? or would he have just exhaled, it seemed like he was carrying the weight of the world and may have felt more relief than satisfaction.

I know it's a stupid cliche, but Brady's body language was off for the Superbowl. He wasn't himself.

I really, seriously don't care. That said, yes, I'm pretty sure that he would have smiled, for whatever that's worth (not much). He was injured more severely than he was letting on, and he knew that that, above all, was why they were losing that game. A healthy Brady wins that game, and he knew it. So sure, he probably feels responsible, even though he absolutely shouldn't. That's why he'll continue to work harder than everyone else and continue to re-set the bar for the quarterback position in the process.

I agree. Maybe his ankle was worse off than he was letting on the week before, or maybe one of the first times he was hit he tweaked it bad.

Yeah, there were also rumors floating around here about a sports hernia, which apparently came from a pretty credible source. Any further word on that?

they lost so....who cares?

Brady may have been injured, but the last pass in XLII to Moss that got deflected.... was 70 yards in the air and put perfectly on target. The Giants DB just made a great play. Brady couldn't have put that ball in a better spot. I don't think he was hurting that bad.
