We all know he likes them. Is there a Pro bowl type TE that would tempt him?

I think Charlie is going to give Bill a glowing recommendation on Notre Dame TE Carlson. He's a good all around TE, blocking running, catching. Probably not a Pro bowl type however.

I also like Davis of Michigan State (depending on how he runs.)

Rucker and Coffman of Missouri are system TE's that can run well and catch.

Not a great year for TEs, but there is some talent available.

Do you think Carlson might be around at the end of round 2, or even the middle of round 2 (if the Pats trade down)?

Then again, come to think of it--who would said TE knock off the roster?

Carlson is a good te, as good as any other TE in this years draft. Besides we share the same last name, whats not to like???;)

Probably be available at the end of round 5.

For Carlson, I think how he runs at the combine determines what round he goes. 4.4 = first. and then step it down gradually from there. 4.9 or above = UDFA.
