It's easy, and only takes a few moments. The jets have over $30M available, about one significant free agent of their own to re-sign or replace, and will have even more available when they cut their deal with Martin.
Are you suggesting that Revis AND Hall might drop to 25? The team picking at #24 would be happy to take either one.
No way. Why would Graham sign with them? He wants to be in a system where he can catch a lot of balls.Sleeper: I could see the Jets spending big bucks on Daniel Graham to develop a nasty physical attitude on offense. This would be a great move for them IMO.

I will go on record as saying that the Jets will pull several moves over the next few months that will pi$$ off the Patriots and their fans.
the perfect fit for him is in Denver or in TN. Both teams lead in TE receptions almost every yr and both have TE needs. Kinney career is likely over now with microfracture surgery and troupe has been a dissapointment. Denver has Scheffler but no one else. Both of these team love the 2 TE set. The darkhorse for Graham has to be the Saints. They have no had a TE since Irv Smith and he even sucked. With their WR and QB and running game Graham could make the probowl because he'll always be single covered by a LB.No way. Why would Graham sign with them? Jets have a ton of room to maneuver. All they have to do is decide whether they want to keep DRob and his contract needs to be redone. His number for 07 is astouding and can easily come down awfully quick.I think you are forgetting the $9M or so of Noodle's contract that was incentivized to drop his cap from $12M to $3M last summer when they didn't think he would be their starter for the season. That bill comes due in 2007 and the league hasn't yet accounted for achieved incentives (or LTBE savings like we banked or NLTBE expenses) in the recently released available cap estimates. That alone will lower the JETS available cap space by almost a third.
Not to mention our LTBE savings will cover three quarters of that franchise tag we just tendered before cutting into our initially estimated $26M.
I think i'd be pretty tempted to give up that first rounder for Turner. You can never have too many quality RB's. And I think the Jets have none at this point.
Not a fan of the no-name bunch previously listed.
It is what it is! Lots of teams have a lot of cap room like the 49ers. I don't worry more about the jets than any other team with lots of cap room. Besides, we've got lots of cap space too.
The list of teams that will be interested in Graham is going to be endless but I really hope he doesn't go to the Jets.
Denver
Seattle
NYJ
Chicago
NO
GB
Tenn
Detroit
Houston
St Louis
All of these teams are lacking a star TE and they have cap room, I'm probably missing some others but I put them in the order of how hard I think they will push to get him. Denver and Seattle are 1A and 1B.
How about the Pats giving up one of their first rounders for Turner?I think i'd be pretty tempted to give up that first rounder for Turner. You can never have too many quality RB's. And I think the Jets have none at this point.

Then we'd have to let Dillon go, and the Jets would pick him up!
