It's easy, and only takes a few moments. He should be happy...he may have a better shot at being thrown to if MOss is double covered...should be very interesting..Stallworth took kind of a below market deal to come to NE and presumably be the #1 guy. Now Moss is here. Hopefully that is not a recipe for trouble.
I don't understand. How does Moss coming here make him unhappy? Moss is getting less money and is on a one-year deal. Stallworth is making more and stands to make a LOT more if his option is picked up.Stallworth took kind of a below market deal to come to NE and presumably be the #1 guy. Now Moss is here. he could get mad cause all those WRs are primadonnas, but if he thinks about it it will be the first season since probably his rookie season he wont be seeing constant double coverage.....I say at least 12 TDs for stallworth
BRING ON THIS M-Fing SEASON ALREADY![/QUOTE]
10 char. Training Camp alone should be awesome this year lol.
Next year Moss stands to make mega dinero if he succeeds, but regardless I think they've both been humbled at this point in their careers and they both really want a chance to win. They know there are no superstars here and as Corey said, one of the things he loved about playing here was just being able to be one of the team.
Well see-this season is going to be the most interesting in the Pats' history,or right up there.
Stallworth should have a fine season, he's more of a top #2 WR than a legit #1 - having the defense worried about Moss should make things easier on Stallworth.
They already asked him and he said he was excited to work across from such a great player.
He also couldnt wait to meet him.
And of course, the long bomb - even with Moss and Stallworth - is still a high risk pass. We'll throw it deep just enough to ensure that our mid and short range receivers have ample room.
