I see the Pats trading back with KC (21st) and picking up an extra 3rd.. not sexy but I could see them picking up Anthony Costanzo or Gabe Carimi..

At the risk of sounding like a run-of-the-mill draftnic...Julio Jones? I don't have access to my draft mags yet so I don't know if this is in the least bit sensible nor would I be very happy but the Patriots have a way of pulling surprises.

God Bless ya, Brother Fred, but if you're depending on the magazines to educate you, you are starting off about 4 or 5 months behind the curve...and it's only going to get worse.

This is definately a patriots type move.

Drop back 4-6 spots. Draft an OT and pick up an extra third. Flip one of our thirds this year for a 2nd next. not sext but fulfils a need on the line while creating more value next year and will have us all here going... damn it julio jones/jj watt/robert quinn/insert sexy pick here is right there...

Still a work in progress, but currently thinking along these lines.

New England trades #17 to New Orleans for #24 and #88.

At #24 New England takes DE Wilkerson of Temple
At #28 New England takes OLB Kerrigan of Purdue
At #33 New England take WR Hankerson of Miami

New England trades #60 and #88 to Denver for #36

At #36 New England takes CB Harris of Miami

Draft pick 3A New England takes OG Boling of Georgia
Draft pick 3B New England takes OT Ziemba of Auburn

No problem with your trading or first four picks. Don't think Kerrigan lasts to 28. Brooks Reed maybe. Not Kerrigan. B.Harris is going to be a late first. Aaron Williams slipping, Jimmy Smith looking like a character risk. Pretty sure B.Harris won't slide to the 2nd round.
