Looks like the GOP Civil War has already begun:
The American Spectator: Post-Defeat Planners
Probably for the same reason Bill Clinton keeps says things like Obama doesn't have the experience to be president. Hillary's last shot is the next time around. They both know it will be too hard to run against an incumbent.
Obama will be the leader of the Democrats for the next 8 years. As for the Republicans, none of the high profile types look like they could win a national election. They need to dig deep.
It'll be Romney against Gindal in 4 years - assuming Mr. Smiley wins which isn't a sure thing.
And Palin is just content with picking her nose in Alaska? She will run and she has more support than both of them.
What a hack job of an article.
No Republican has campaigned harder the past 6 months for the party than Romney.
No doubt the same work of the smear experts who manipulate sheeple to think Obama is a fundamentalist marxist Muslim.
I agree to an extent,
Who here knew that Kerry and Beatty had their one and only debate yesterday afternoon? Beatty's gonna get slaughtered and Abe Lincoln himself couldn't fix it. If I was Romney I wouldn't want Beatty's loser cooties all over me either.
Oh please, please let Palin be the standard bearer for the GOP going forward.
I don't think she'll be one of the final two, I think too much damage may have been done. I like her, if she comes back strong that's great with me.
Why give up? The elections is not until the fourth, weirder things have happened.
