I'll probably tune in after the ceremonies are over, but you know Madden and Micheals won't stop talking about SB XXII. Maybe I'll turn down the volume as well.

Last year I tuned in late, but after Manning smoked the Saints early I tuned out.

Since kickoff is at 7pm there won't be a lot of pregame hoopla.

If the Giants are losing, then all talk of SB42 will go away.

I'd love to see the crowd boo Eli in Week 1 :)

I'll watch the game but no ceremony.

When the Giants do something good they'll be the team that beat the Patriots. When the Giants do poorly they'll be far removed from the team that beat the Patriots.

I'm going to skip that torture. Thanks for offering, though.:)

as much as it will stink to see them celebrate and all that, i don't see how you can't want to watch this.

It will be the first game since the Superbowl and I will be excited to see it.

It will also be very easy to root for the Redskins so it should be fun i think.

As much as it sucked losing the SB, I don't have any animosity towards the Giants or their fans. The Giants beat the Pats fair and square. Their fans have been pretty cool for the most part. Sure, they gloated just as any team would have after beating an 18-0 team. Plus how Coughlin handled that week 17 game that was supposedly meaningless to the talking heads, I can't help but respect their team.

Pre-Super Bowl this game would be just about non-watchable for me.

But after seeing the Giants take perfection away from us, will be watching and rooting for the Skins.

Yup. I tune into whatever we get here. A little childish I know but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want the Giants to get a beatdown.

Is this even a serious question?

My sentiments exactly. I'll watch it and root like hell for the redskins.

unless it is the pats i do not watch many nfl games in the regular season

I will watch the game, but:

The sound will be off at all times.

I will watch zero pre-game or halftime ceremonies.

As soon as a camera shows Starchie or PayaTon Manning, I will change the channel.

And if the jints are winning decisively, I will change the channel and not return.

Here's hoping that the Skins return the favor to the jints, and go Theismann on Elly's knees. And on Brandon Jacobs'. And on Plaxico's. And on Strahan's. And on Umeniyora's.
