Will McCourty be a Patriot in 2015?

Looks like 5 years at $47.5 brought him back. Good news and a good price over that time period. The guaranteed amount seems high, but is basically the franchise tag+/- over the first three years.

The poster right above nailed it with the $9-$10M AAV prediction.

Interesting report that McCourty thought the deal wasn't going to happen and called Belichick to say thank you for everything before he departed. Sounds like the Pats may have blinked at the last minute, which is just fine with me.
