Is it determined? If not why not?

I mean the schedule could be stated as

AFC seed 3 plays seed 6 : time date
AFC seed 4 plays seed 5 : time date
etc

Madison Avenue needs to know which market is which seed.

All bow to the TV Gods......

Giants on Saturday night

Expect to see the Giants play at home Saturday the 7th at 8pm meaning the pats play either 430 saturday or sunday.

If that is the case then I would bet the Patriots play Saturday. Why should the
powers to be give the Champs a break now. No Extra day to rest for our guys.

I heard SUNDAY.

Where? I have a ridiculous all day meeting Saturday, AND I NEED TO KNOW! Had the same meeting last year on the equivalent Saturday, but we had a bye then.

Actually, I would prefer the Pats to play as early as possible next Saturday.

Today we'll rest the starters at least for the second half.

We'll need as much time and rest as possible going into Indy or Denver.

But once again, it doesn't mean a damn whether the Pats are the Champs or not. All that matters is the ranking of the Boston area demographic market and the marketability of the Patriot players in conjunction with those measures of their opponent. Football has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Get your priorities straight and cancel or be a no show for that meeting.

It's up to the Networks to decide which matchup best serves them when ratings wise

I would have to think they find the Patriots a compelling matchup with anyone, and would grant them one of the primetime spots

I'd recommend a Sunday placement as well, but that will be determined by who they are slated to play.
