Why am I not surprised one of the forum's liberals would be in here defending their idol? It actually took less time than I thought it would.

Once again you make a complete ass of yourself, instead of responding to the thread you attack the poster...

So how is that any different from 99% of the responses you give? Attacking the poster is known around these parts as the "Darryl Maneuver".

Virtually every single post you make personally attacks the person you disagree with and then hijacks the thread to talk about Bush and Iraq.

Not really.. but that is not important, what is important is that the charges were dropped... so you get bytch slapped once again..

And you wonder about my skepticism..

How so? I never said he was guilty of these charges. He is a known criminal and a piece of crap. No wonder you like him so much.

By the way, your post has been reported for your personal attacks against me and I would like to request a moderator inform Darryl that this type of behavior is not welcome in this forum.

Wonder if he is still whining to the "dittohead nation" about how John Kerry mistreated him.. whole lot of whining from the righties lately.

Richard Cheney and the Head Dittohead.. "Stalinist Nation".. interesting term.

Ummm did you read all the posts regarding an incident that did not happen?

I mean you posted it ... you perpetrated a falsehood ... not me.

Oh please. Perpetuated a falsehood? Let's put your accusation to the logic test:

Let's start with my thread title:

    Yep, that happened.

This is my opinion, and I stand by it.

"Julian Assange arrested [in absentia] for rape": Yep, Aftonbladet really did run that story.

This was also true, though both are now working for me.

It did, so that's true. Perhaps well-founded ones as it turns out.

Well, CNN might not have been the first English site to break the news, but it's the first I found for our (presumably) Swedish-challenged members here. Perhaps that was a falsehood, though not with malicious intent or of any real consequence. Congratulations. I suppose if one has the maturity of a five-year-old, that can be considered sweet vindication.

Yep, CNN did really run the story, though they did alter it later to reflect the updates. However, even they say that he was indeed charged. Are you not aware that news sites might actually change the text of a story as new details emerge? See that little time stamp (at the top of the page, under the title) in the CNN link?

Either I'm able to post articles from the future, or maybe it was updated!

Find me a falsehood in there, sir.

I assume that you are either mistaken (and being rather arrogant about it), a fool, or simply not very capable of the type of reading comprehension that used to be necessary to discuss political developments. I am really not sure which is the case. Just to cover my bases, I will use small words. At the time I made the post, the charges had not yet been dropped.

If that still isn't clear enough, I will use crayons next time.
